Anthropic just shipped Claude inside QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, DocuSign, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Slack. Procurement did not see it coming. Enterprise AI used to come through the front door: vendor pitch, security review, contract, budget line. Now it ships in the next product update. The shift matters because procurement teams spent the last decade learning to evaluate SaaS vendors as discrete decisions, and AI features inside those vendors are not discrete decisions. They are setting toggles, often on by default, often invisible to the people who originally approved the tool. The corporate survivalist move this week is to audit your stack, identify which tools just got Claude features, and bring three questions to IT: what data flows through them, does your existing DPA cover Anthropic as a subprocessor, and who decided this was approved.
